The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has seized 12 houses in an estate allegedly belonging to Ex Gov. James Ibori and have recovered $2.6bn, an associate of the embattled former National Security,
“The EFCC is investigating the involvement of Ex Gov. James Ibori, who is linked with Nordeen Global Resources for their involvement in the monumental fraud that allegedly took place.
We should recall that James Ibori as a governor of Delta state then, racked up credit card bills of $200,000 a month and owned a fleet of armored Range Rovers, and was trying to buy a plane before he was first arrested.
He was once seen as one of Nigeria’s wealthiest and most influential politicians, Ibori was seized in 2010 in Dubai.
“Corruption is a cancer in developing countries and the [UK] coalition government has a zero-tolerance approach to it.
The EFCC said “We are committed to rooting out corruption wherever it is undermining development”. A tip-off by a whistle blower recently, led to another discovery by the EFCC, of a staggering sum of over $2.6bn.
So Almighty Allah will continue to be exposing them one after another in sha Allah.
